Can't detect libspotify .dll

Aug 26, 2013 at 2:43 PM

I was testing out libspotify.NET and when i ran my code in Visual Studio 2010 I got a DllNotFoundException because the project was not able to load libspotify.dll.

I added a reference to libspotifydotnet.dll to my project but can't add a reference to libspotify.dll

Is something missing here?

Thanks for the help,

Hi Tiago,

Yes, sounds like you are missing libspotify.dll, this unmanaged library is available from Spotify and need to be copied manually into your project output directory. You will not set a reference to this library. Please see the project home page for more information on required dependencies.

Have fun!

That's it, thanks. I placed them in the same folder but forgot that it must be placed in the .exe folder.
